Where to Donate Reading Materials:
Brooklyn Public Library welcomes gifts of materials in good condition, including books, paperbacks, recordings, and magazines. It is always best to check with individual branches to ask if there are any local limitations on types of materials accepted and to make arrangements for donating. Used Book Café SoHo accepts donations of books, records, and cds at their bookstore. 100% of the profits go to Housing Works, a non-profit organization that provides housing, advocacy, health care and many other services for New Yorkers living with HIV and AIDS.
